So my last post sparked a bit of debate... People love to come on here and tell me about the dangers of anorexia. First of all I'm not anorexic. I have never claimed to be nor do I wish to be anorexic.
I used to have a binge eating disorder and when it took toll of my body- well let me tell you about the dangers of obesity (the bmi I had when I weighed 106 kilos in high school) your legs are put under tremendous strain, you're at risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. On top of this you bear the brunt of every degrading comment bellowed out when you enter a classroom.
If a person starts rapidly overeating and blogged about it I would never call them binging 'wannabes', that's the type of name calling I would expect from a high schooler but not from a 44-year-old. To be honest, if you don't like this blog why do you waste so much time and energy on it? It's really quite sad, a person with two degrees should really have less time on their hands...
I believe my methods of weight loss aren't damaging to my health and I'm happy following them. It's my right to believe in this and I have a right to be offended by your remarks on my site. I wouldn't go on your site and start ranting against your religious beliefs because it's offensive and it's your belief and not my place to try and change you into believing something else.
I like to blog because it's a good support system for me and many of the friends I've made on here with the same issues... they are the only people I want to talk to and I really don't want to waste any energy on people whose comments I don't even listen to. I'm over this now and I want to move on so please.
