Q: What is wrong with women?

Tre excitement! A new documentary that has been struggling with issues of distribution has been green lighted for limited release.

Suffering through the torment of the indy video circuit for two years is enough to win our empathy (cause we knew that we didn't have the patience), but that they are talking about sexual health in a matter of fact manner has just about won us over.

We dont pay to see many movies these days, and with the exception of Winter Bone we haven't encouraged others to sit and watch cause there is usually a better view if you are straddling steel. Still, we have high hopes for Orgasm Inc.

Good luck, Liz Canner!

A: the same thing that is wrong with men.

Baack on davis radio

Again with the sweet radio broadcasts! Our crew of humpy-go-lucky pornographers are no stranger to radio, with interviews with the people behind Free Radio ChuShawn in Tucson, AZ and Davis, CA. We returned to the air on Davis radio this past week. And you can listen to it we think by clicking on this link: http://www.kdvs.org/shows/view/show_id/898/date/2009-09-15/

Bike Porn has a curious history with Davis, as we were welcome with warm arms in an otherwise empty campus over winter break 2 years ago, then just last year we found out that the UBER bike friendly political climate had changed. Not only was the Bike Church kicked out on a specious argument of "safety" but our crew was encouraged to peddle the smut elsewhere!

This was after Davis was the first place in North America ranked as a Platinum city! Years before Portland even*! Whoa! Times do change and while there are lots of people still utilizing bikes as effective efficient transport the idea that a city might turn its back on the homegrown bike organizations as soon as the berg gets its award for being "bike friendly" is more than a little disquieting.

Could Portland (or any other number of currently rad bike places) be on a similar path to lameness? Lets hope not. As for the now defunct Davis Bike Church? They have a new location and name,

BEHOLD, BIKE FORTH

We look forward to checking them out when we make our triumpunt return to Davis in early February (we think) Mark something (but use pencil)!

----

*We are a little dubious of some of those statistics. 60% of Portland’s police force patrols via bicycle. - Really? Hrm...

Internets is full of Sex

Bicycling was also associated with men's sexuality. In the late nineteenth century popular press cartoons often depicted weakened men having to assume women's household chores because women were busy being athletic, while men who lived in cities and/or led inactive lives were considered "effeminate." Cycling was advocated as a means through which they would recover their manhood.

thanks to Taisau for making available such historic radness WITH CONTEX!

Sex with athletes as a metaphor for safe biking? No, wait... safe biking as a metaphor for sexual control in a dangerous place. WARNING: motorized content ahead

In an ideal world, women would be able to do whatever and whoever they wanted and damn the consequences. Like motorcycling, however, casual sex has dangers as well as thrills. The numerous nasties include diseases, drop-kicks, double standards and scary new recording devices.

Just how popular is porn really?

Might porn be less searched out for if we had more porn in the rest of our lives? Leads to the idea of red states using more pornography than blue states. If it is more popular in places where porn is more taboo, we might have less overall if we had it more available... like in public broadcasting and church for example.

thanks to http://dangerousintersection.org for finding that gem

Chicks and Bikes, sexy yet lame?!?

In a move unbecoming of a sexy blogger the punks at Chicks and Bikes have lifted more content from BikeSmut.com

We, in an attempt at levity asked to be credited with increasing amounts of disbelief as our fine booty was trotted around the internet for all the world to see.

yet all the pony's men could not get any love.

This breech of trust in internet pornographers should not be troubling. On more than one occasion we have expressed our opinion of the standards pornographers hold themselves to. It could be that this kind of mentality contributes to our stated opinion about how porn sucks, or it could just be a side effect of lazy, annoying people.

It would be cute to think of this content as so cherished, so chaste, that we could become morally outraged at this indignation. In actuality we should expect everything to be stolen and not credited. We should expect ourselves to be irate for 20 min, post some equally annoying content about how its not even a chick in those panties and then wonder about the future of internet bike porn. Could Chicks with Dicks and Bikes be far behind?

I got your indecency right here!

Who defines what is appropriate for you?

More importantly (and kind implied in the last question but never mind that) Who defines what is inappropriate for you?

Well if you are are considered an Adult (a floating range between 14-21 years old depending on who you are talking to and the emancipation laws of a given state) you may be given a lot of freedom in that regard.

Have a look for at this handy guide, color coded for children!

Nevertheless there is probably a head of household/state/bike gang that you trust to make some decisions about what is/is not okay sexually. These people are always (supposed to be) looking out for the less worldly members of your country/community/bike shop. This is a tricky position to be put into for sure as the morality of the leader is thrust upon the followers. But what if the leader is really horny? What then will said leader thrust?

So is it that fucked up people are attracted to positions of power or is it that power corrupts all our god-fearing leaders or is it that we really like to see our leaders crossing lots of taboos cause it makes us feel better about our minor issues with ethics.

No matter where you live the standards you obey are community standards. Even though an external force may try to set undesirable codes of behavior for you.

We at BikeSmut LLC heartily encourage more local (if any) control. So much so that we have considered creating a modular program that could be dialed up or down.

"Cant handle watching anything penetrate an anus? No problem!"
"Fisting too much for your sensitive eyeballs? We got you covered."
Its tireless and largely thankless work. But that's the job of censors, to keep you at a safe, comfortable distance for the realities of modern bike rape

Could a future video screening include user defined content? Could a computer program infer from an audience a desire of more or less porn by way of simple cheering or jeering? Would a program like that inevitably end with terribly disturbing content or more kittens? (one in the same in this situation)

And while it is pertinent, why is it that the Agency for Cycling Ethics' website is password protected? WHERE ARE WE TO TURN NOW?

UPDATE - It seems they have removed their presence altogether. If this is a sign of the future possibly these people can help.
